First all-in-one PC, laptop, with a 3D camera

January 7:  We pick out another CES launch that might be meaningful to Indian buyers this year
At last year's Consumer Electronics Show, Intel  unveiled  RealSense,  the world's first integrated 3D depth and 2D camera module that helps devices 'see' depth much like the human eye. The full 1080p camera did  full-color 1080p and had an on-board sensor for gesture and face detection. It had the ability to detect finger level movements enabling highly accurate gesture recognition, facial features for understanding movement and emotions. It  understood  foregrounds and backgrounds to allow control, enhance interactive augmented reality, simply scan items in three dimensions, and more.
At this year's CES today, Lenovo, launched the first all-in-one PC with Intel's  RealSense3D camera -- the  B50 3D camera  with Windows 8.1.
The 3D camera takes connecting, capturing and sharing and playing to a new dimension by enhancing video chats with virtual spaces, storing depth information for 3D editing and printing and interacting by responding to hands and finger movements and even facial expressions. It comes preloaded with four Intel RealSense experiences including Out of Box Experience, Personify, Wave Warrior and BBB Goal to make these imaginative uses a reality by video chatting, playing games and manipulating objects in 3D.
Early users at Las Vegas report that When used with games, the camera’s 3D technology essentially puts your body inside the game. For video chatting, the Personify app works with the camera’s depth sensing capabilities to remove background images from your video. What you’re left with is just  you.
With its 23.8-in frameless FHD 1920x1080 touch screen and next generation NVIDIA GeForce graphics, the B50 3D Camera  provides v. good visuals along with immersive Dolby certified sound and JBL speakers. It also has a DVD burner for flexibility when it comes to viewing and transferring multimedia. The B50 3D Camera has up to a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor, WiFi and HDMI in and out connections.
The Lenovo B50 3D Camera all-in-one desktop will be availableworldwide  beginning in March with models starting at $1,249  equivalent.
Acer has also launched  a 3-D cam-ehanced  computer at CES 15 -- the Acer V17 Nitro gaming laptop.
For a few days, we have a video showing how Drones can avoid obstacles with Intel  3DRealSense technology in our tech video spot on the home page. The video was released  today.
