June 22, 2023: Pune-based tech-based home healthcare platform MedRabbits, has launched its latest offering in the Medical Value Travel space.
This aligns with the Government’s ambitious ‘Heal in India’ initiative, wherein patients from across the globe can access India’s advanced healthcare systems at affordable rates.
It has announced the opening of a representative office in Bangladesh, which caters to over 56% of the country’s medical tourism patients.
The company will provide medical value travel services with end-to-end concierge, hospitalization and post-surgery rehabilitation services to people traveling from overseas to India for medical treatment. They will also provide the services to domestic patients exploring surgery options in different cities.
MedRabbits adds value to their domestic customers by providing a ‘care now, pay later’ (“CNPL”) plan.
It will help both international and domestic patients to sieve and navigate through a plethora of hospital and specialty clinic options. 
The services will also include assistance with documentation, including patient registration with the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Officer) as necessary or filling the medical visa C-form by hotels registered and approved for medical tourism.
By partnering with premier hospitals and specialty clinics across India and overseas, the company will assist patients with counselling, end-to-end travel, visas, second opinions, translation services, accommodation, patient admission, documentation and rehabilitation services within the country and globally.
